Chrome Industries, the iconic lifestyle bag brand designed for life on the move, proudly debut their latest capsule collection in collaboration with acclaimed designer Rio Uribeto celebrate LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. A homage to the city of Los Angeles and inspired by the proud colours and bold creativity of the lowrider community, this collection features rich, unique fabrics and custom details that celebrate diversity and serve as a reminder of self expression and freedom to be you, be seen and be proud.
Blending Rio’s distinctive design language and creativity with Chrome’s functional ethos, this bold collection is a love letter to the city, celebrating LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities through the lens of LA’s Chicano and lowrider communities. Taking inspiration from the legendary 1964 Chevy Impala Gypsy Rose, the collection is festooned with metallic glitter, bandana print linings and embroidered rainbow roses. As part of the campaign, Chrome is donating a portion of the proceeds to Somos Familia Valle, an LGBTQ+ community organisation dedicated to support, empower and mobilize families and allies for racial, gender and economic justice in the San Fernando Valley.
Choose from four styles; the Citizen Messenger (£160), Kadet Max (£150), Kadet (£110) and Mini Kadet (£80), all in a choice of striking Rio Rose Black and vibrant Rio Rose Pink finishes, alongside a limited-edition Mini Buckle Keychain (£30) in playful pink glitter.
