BRAND NEW LIMITED EDITION SIGNED ARTWORK BY THE ROLLING STONES RONNIE WOOD NOW EXCLUSIVELY ON SALE AT THE RS NO.9 CARNABY FLAGSHIP STORE

Now exclusively on sale at the Rolling Stones flagship lifestyle store RS No.9 Carnaby is brand new signed artwork by British rock guitarist and internationally renowned artist Ronnie Wood.

Ronnie Wood is one of the foremost rock guitarists in the world, but his artistic talents have always extended beyond music. Ronnie has continued his passion for painting and drawing in tandem with his musical career and his art is widely collected throughout the world.

The RS No. 9 Carnaby store is currently holding five pieces of artwork exclusively and are offering all visitors to the store an additional 20% off each print instore at 9 Carnaby Street, London, W1 until Friday 9 February.

Throughout these pieces of artwork, Ronnie has used a range of techniques and inspiration from his fellow band members, his time on tour and iconic Stones albums such as Beggars Banquet, bringing together his lifelong loves of music and painting. The Eleventh Hour has particularly been inspired by the work of Max Beckmann who was a German painter, draftsman, printmaker, sculptor, and writer. These abstracted prints perfectly encapsulate the spirit of Wood’s years with the band.

The prints that can be viewed and purchased at the RS No.9 Carnaby store are:

The Eleventh Hour: Inspired by the work of Max Beckmann, Ronnie presents himself and his fellow Rolling Stones members within an abstract scene. The painting is rich with mysterious imagery and is the first to feature Steve Jordan as the band’s drummer (albeit with the late Charlie Watts watching over).

Beggars Banquet 25:

Marking a quarter of a century since the original release of Ronnie’s seminal work, Beggars Banquet II, this new, limited-edition print celebrates the classic 1968 Stones album of the same name – itself about to celebrate its 55th anniversary.

Mick with Harmonica

Mick with Harmonica. A study of Mick playing the instrument synonymous with the blues – the music at the core of the Stones sound. It encapsulates such intensity a moment at which the ‘harp’ takes a lead role.

Skulls on Stage II

Skulls on Stage II. This celebrated and much sought after image records the stones during their Bigger Bang world tour which took place between 2005 and 2007.

Flatbed ‘75

Screenprint, 2005. Embossed and individually hand signed by Ronnie Wood Limited to 10 prints from an original edition of 290.
