Fashion heritage risen from the ashes
Founded in 1904 by Samuel Slater as a humble tailors shop, the name and stock has grown and diversified over the years to support all who wish to dress to impress in the finest labels, quality fabrics and premium tailoring.
From the ashes of a devastating building fire in 1973, the brand soon evolved into the go-to for premium menswear when Samuel Slater’s son, Ralph, stirred the brand away from manufacturing and devoted their business to retail. Ralph built the business backup from scratch after the unprecedented accident, infusing his and his fathers passion for suiting into the new Slaters we know and love today.
